Cam Help
Hi, guys.
I installed a Pioneer Avic-8200NEX a year or so ago and had also installed a Pioneer ND-BC8 rearview camera. The head unit works perfectly, but I never got the reverse camera to work. Other projects and life took precedence. Now I want to revisit it.
Presuming I redo it and start from scratch, what is the best way to set up the reverse camera for power and signals?
Also, since I'll have the center console open again, how can I go about making power and ground blocks which I would be able to easily add or remove items from without having to splice/crimp/solder wires every time? I have my gauges in mind with this.
Thanks for the help!

Simpler question: If I'm wiring in a back-up camera, where on our cars should all the wires go for power, ground, reverse signal, etc.? That will get me where I need to go.

If I remember correctly on mine I wired everything up at the head unit, I just connected the power and ground to the switched power and ground of the head unit, and if I remember correctly there's a reverse signal wire there to connect to also.

Pioneer has outputs specifically for the cameras.
