Rookie mistake.....I routed my cables incorrectly when I did a complete system upgrade. When I routed the power cable to my rear speaker amp that's mounted behind the driver's seat, I ran the speaker wires alongside the power cable. I'm almost positive this is why the rear speakers hum like crazy in sync with engine speed.
I know the correct fix is to just tear things apart and figure out a different way to rout my rear speaker wires. I just don't want to mess with that until next winter, and I do not recall there being that many options and getting the carpet to lay flat and the trim reinstalled. So it's either disconnect the rear speakers and amp, or try to use an isolator of sorts... The rears are just fill anyway, so sound quality isn't terific.
Based on this, what isolator, or other method/gizmo would you guys recommend I try?
