Very nice! What kind of subs do you have in there? Also, what is the height of your box and/or with subwoofer in. First glance you would think the top wouldn't fit, but good job.

Dynamat, dynamat, and more dynamat xtreme.
😁
head - kenwood DDX 9903s
amp - Alpine PDXv9
Speakers - 3way for front Infinity Perfect mid, tweets, , kicker 8" midbass. Infinity coax for rear fill.
thinking of bi-amping the front and running the rear from just the head unit or a smaller amp.
I have the storage bin from DDmods [probably the last thing he delivered], so will be hiding the amp in there.

thanks. Yes, I love sound deadening. This will be my third car that gets the treatment. I've done the rear already, just waiting for some free time and some cooler weather to finish this up.

One more step taken.
since I could not get anyone to send me their blown non Bose door speaker, had to makemy own adapter. Had some 1/4" plexiglass so...
Used a stock non bose as a template:
Next to the gutted speaker.
With the Kicker 8\" midbass. Well be secured, sealed, and covered with Dynamat Xtreme. Hopefully tonight I'll make the second one and then the same treatment for that big hole in each door. I have a template for that!

Some progress this week..
Since this is my daily driver, it's been hard finding time to tear it down and work on it.
Big improvement to the way the factory bose sounds.

Sub plan change
Since I came across this deal at the same time that I was building my speaker box, I have decided to try it out first. I know, this us the longest build tread without much progress.. but hey it's a daily driver.
