Underachieved

I have a 2007. Will I require some type of update so I can play Mp3 on the CD drive? I have searched and I am not sure if this year requires an update. Also, is this only possible to play Audio CD's on the cd player or can you use Audio DVD on the cd player? I assume the NAV Dvd player only will play the NAV disc.

If I do need the an upgrade where do you get the update from?

I know the file structure for the disc is available on CF so that should be covered.
