For something that doesn’t quite break the bank and makes real good power, check out Sundown Audio. The good JL stuff is so expensive. I run a cheap version of a Digital Designs 1k watt amp in my Accord and it does the trick for me on 1 10” sub but I doubt it’s truly 1k watts. It is turned way down though....
Hmm thanks, how could I measure that? I hav an old school Phoenix gold titaniun 1000.2 in there now. I know the amp is 1 ohm stable, but you are right its prb not at a 1 ohm load. The ohn loads I am really not well versed on ohms. Ps the speakers are dual voice coils...I am considering just haveing the current amp restored..
You should have a pair of leads from the speaker box to the amp. Disconnect them from the amp and connect them to a multimeter that is set to measure ohms.
