C6 1LZ advice needed
I have a 2009 Z06 1LZ so no Bose, my passenger door woofer seems to be blown but I’d like to upgrade the sound sound a little bit since i have to replace anyways. From what I’ve read I can either replace the woofer with an oem and upgrade the door and rear speakers with 4-ohm aftermarket speakers and get a slight improvement over stock or I can replace all the speakers and put 6.5” 2 ways in the doors where the woofers are but I would need an amp to make all that work? I am not the most versed in stereo so any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m not looking for the best stereo just something slightly better than stock with good clean crisp sound. Thank you.

Option 1
replace blown speaker
Sound deadening for the doors
Replace upper mid with two way 4"
Leave rears alone
Option 2
Replace all door speakers with 2 or 3 way 6.5" components
Sound deadening
Add sub in rear
3 channel amp
Leave rears alone
