C6 door speaker question

C6 door speaker question
Hey guys, question for u.
2007 3LT with bose.
Both of the front speakers in the door blew on me over this last year. Passenger went first so I just unplugged it until I decided what to do by either replacing with factory or upgrading.
Fast forward to currently and my question is can u install the base door speaker in place of the bose?
Had a buddy that upgraded his C6 with base system to something better, and he gave me both his base system front door speakers.
Will they fit? Be nice not having to shell out 250$ a piece for stock replacements.

I have a couple I can sell you that work fine if the other speakers don't work. Personally, I have never seen a non-bose C6, so I don't know if the speakers will fit. It's a 10" hole though if that helps.

I know the base speakers are only 8", but I think they'll physically fit, hole in the door should be the same. I think the bose uses a different amp though, not sure if they'll play together. I'd try asking in the C6 general section
