Default powering a small amp

Im going to add a small Alpine amp to an Alpine head unit. Its made for the head unit but needs 15 amps. Is there a spare fuse in the foot well fuse box I could use.I'm checking the fuse layout but don't see anything. If not, run it to the battery.

What amp are you running that only requires 15 amps?

Alpine kt445A..it plugs into the headunit and doubles its power to about 40 watts..its not the usual kind that you hook up anything to.

@mfi2000 No need to do any of those things. There's an unused harness (except '04) in the passenger's footwell that has 3 wires (yellow: switched via Fuse 11, orange: always hot via Fuse 7 and black: ground).

One thing will be interesting..the amp has gain controls and the metra adapter has them too..should be fun setting them
So it sounds right..

And just thought of this..Found the wires cut to the outlet in the armrest..guess someone could not figure out how to remove it..i can tap into that wire for the amp and use the footwell one for my gps..they sell a hardwire cable for this..would be nice to get that mess away from the ashtray area.
