Default C5 OEM Bezel Removal ?

How many screws and or clips or whatever have to be removed so the bezel can be taken out to replace the head unit? Thanks, Dave

Well..its been posted a million times..but since ive done it 5 times in 2 weeks
Best thing is you tube
But be csrefull with the lityle pansl next to ignition switch..its expensive..one screw behind it..one behind ash tray..one next to cig lighter. Have to remove center console door..2 nuts under the little panels at back top side of console..2 nuts under the active handeling panel
Wayerfall has to come off..4 screws so you can slide the console back..so you can then get the bezel off
I have a stick so the boot just pops off
Takes about 10 minutes once you do it once..

The nuts are 10mm..the screws are torx..and the door screws are philips..gm loves to mix it up
If you want to mess around with the interior..a full set of torx drivers and interior tools are needed..pretty cheap..about 45 bucks for everything
And once apart..you will be greeted with this
When you pull the bezel you have to unclip the cigarette lighter..that one is easy..the center console one is a
Bitch..i found mine cut..guess they couldnt get it off..i put bullet connectors on the wires so i can pull them easy
Also be sure to test the cig lighters for power after you hook them up but before you button it all up
