I have an I-Phone and an 07 Corvette. I want to swap my Sony head unit to a Kenwood or Pioneer with Apple Car Play and mylink/IDatalink capable. I’ve found a few units I like and I wanted to go with an IDatalink Maestro so I could display additional gauges on my head unit. I’ve spoken with Crutch field and they said the IDatalink Maestro is not compatible with the Vette. Is anyone else using anything where the gauges can be displayed on the head unit? Apple Carplay only shows stuff like maps, iTunes etc. Does anyone know if there’s anything else that would or could work with my car?
Regrettably idatalink doesn't make a interface for the Corvettes for some reason, which was really surprising to me. There's been a few people from this forum that have contacted them and inquired about if they're going to come out with one, but it doesn't sound promising that they will. I'm also sorry to say there's no other way to display the vehicle info on an aftermarket stereo in a Corvette that I've ever seen or heard of, so I'm afraid you're out of luck like the rest of us.
I just spoke to Crutchfield about the same thing and as of today, April 7, 2021, there still isn't a connection available between the idatalink maestro and the OBD port on my 2008 Corvette. Was bummed out, wanted to take advantage of this potential feature.
Personally since the C6 is no longer in production, I find it highly unlikely iDatalink will ever make one for our cars, but you never know, maybe if enough people bother them asking for one, this might change.

I hear you, but given how many C6's are out there, I 'm really surprised. I'm also a little pissed because I bought a high-end Kenwood when my GM OEM nav unit died and one of the features was the ability of the Kenwood Excelon DNX996XR to tie in to engine operating data and I really wanted to do that. A little more research today and I just ordered an OBD-II bluetooth device that will connect to the Kenwood and let me put various guages and data on the screen, was $108, reads and resets codes too, sounds very promising.

I may be missing something here, but I'm not seeing how it'll connect to your Kenwood.
Not sure I do either, did a little more research, am hoping that screen mirroring will permit it, bought a couple of OBD apps today, the bluetooth device will be delivered tomorrow, let you know if I have any luck. I don't like hanging a cell phone up in my cars, my daughter does and it annoys me.
DANGIT! Just upgraded the stereo I just ordered to a Kenwood 957 that has this feature and I started to get excited... O well... Crutchfield is the bomb, got it out today for delivery tomorrow and will return the Sony,.
