Default Sub Enclosure

New to me C5 and asking to make sure this will fit my 98 vert. It looks correct but the ad doesn't actually mention a vert.

I have the latches but the thread really didn't help. I need to find out if the sub enclosure will work for mine. Although, it did give me the idea about just cutting a hole in the cover but Im worried that the air movement may just be a problem. Not looking to do a high power system but the cover doesn't exactly seem the most sturdiest.

You definately need an enclosure..i believe the trunk spaces are the same..i have a vert and a lot of people use those sub boxes. I like the corner ones from vettenuts but the are pricey
The trunk by itself is not good..too much leakage.
Im going to check out the all in one box from jl audio for behind the seating area...12 inch with the amp already installed..so i dont lose trunk space.
As i understand it ...it may sound better as it wont be behind the top when it down.
Check out crutchfield..they have a great return policy
If you dont like what you get.

When I was looking for a box to go in my center storage earlier this year everyone I found I asked if it would fit my vert. The answer was always no. I bought mine from subthump.com. Good price took about a month but it’s installed and working great!

Then I would go with a Vettnutts corner..then you don't lose the trunk.
Verts need all the storage you can keep...

I installed that exact box in my vert a couple days ago. It fits perfectly.
