Help with distortion

Could you please listen to this metallica sound after 20 seconds and tell me what is causing the distortion.

Very hard to tell anything out of place in that recording due to quality of it. Distortion can be caused by many things. Can you give a run down of your setup?

Sorry for delay been in hospital. Sound setup kenwood head unit. Pac roem interface. Stock bose sub. 3.5 pioneer and 5.25 pioneer. Car is convertible.

I think it's to much power, or a clipping signal from HU at high volume. Those speakers won't last long playing like that. Maybe time to invest in an amplifier, or a component set of speakers.

Funny thing is it is only at 20 volume

Power is power bro. 22W RMS from the HU is more than the factory for sure.

Try dialing down the bose subs.
You need to pull the door panels and see whats going on

Just an update. I ripped all the bose crap out. Ran new wires. Put 6.5 infinity referance in the doors and sound ordnance b-8ptd behind the waterfall. Now the system sounds awesome!
