C5 accessory wire

C5 accessory wire
Just curious as to where people are getting their accessory lead from in a C5. I would prefer not to go to the fuseblock if there is a closer wire.

Passenger footwell, remove the access panel and you will see that the general has an accessory wire with black tape on the end for adding electronic items to your car. :)

It really doesn't get any closer or better than the one in the footwell, especially if you want the power to be accessory switched. You can tap into the cig plug in the center console relatively easily by removing the active handling/traction control panel if that is any easier, but that power isn't switched.

Doesn't mean that you think the person who posted before you is really stupid only that you agree with them. It's has a certain laugh factor or joking factor among friends. I wouldn't post it if I didn't know the person I was quoting or who had the post. Most of us on the forum for any length of time grow a skin similar to an armadillo! That's about as good an explanation as I can provide.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the tip.
My hats off to the GM engineers. This has to be the easiest car to install in that I have ever worked with.
