Has any ever tried this?
I was just thinking of just upgrading my rear and front speakers in my 1994
C/4 and putting in a amp that would supply enough power to all 4. I am not trying to enter any bass countest just want a liitle more sound that the stock sytem and it is non Bose.

The stock deck does not have outputs for the amp. You could do just the speakers or if you want to add the amp you would need to get high to low level converters, which cost money and you usually end up with engine noise in the best of situations, of which a corvette is not. I would do the upgrades in the following order if you need new speakers:
Speakers
Radio
Amp
Most radios today have more power than the stock non-bose radio and will outperform it in just about every way.
