Replacing stock speakers this weekend. Please help...

I have a 2002 C5 coupe...

Newbie here. I'm replacing the stock Bose pukers :U this weekend. Does anyone have instructions/pics on how to get at the door mounted fronts and the rear speakers? Thanx HUGE for any help. I just don;t want to break anything :smash:

I am also having an Infiniti Basslink installed. Any issues there I should be aware of?

Also, is there any reason I need to leave the stock head unit in? Like, controls security or something? I'd sure like to replace that, too...

Follow Conq's link and that will help you out with the doors. As for the rears, all you need to do is take a small flat headed screwdriver and pop the black screen out of the mount. You will also have to take get at the ABS plastic as it is quite rigid and might sharp too... cut myself countless times and was wiping up blood all the time on those buggers... :mad

You will be able to get three of the four screws back in without any fuss but if you go for the elusive 4th screw then good luck...hehe...

I am building my website and will post all of my install pics in there. Something to do during the winter... :lol:
