Have 2006 C6 coupe with Bose nav. radio was looking to install a USB port to use thumb drive loaded with music. Remember when I bought car was looking for way to add blue tooth for phone, looked at Parrot and some others but was complicated and didn't like the way they worked so wound up with Jabra Freeway works good. Now looking to add USB port and remember there was some connection where the optional CD changer went and was operated trough XM screen anyone know of any USB adapters I can get to set this up? Thanks

I don't know of any adapter for this. I'm assuming you are doing this because you want to stay with the OEM look. You could try to find a headunit from a 2011 - 2013 that has Bluetooth and USB built in. You'll also need the USB cable/harness.
RADIO UPGRADE
Best option overall (features, sound quality) is to go with aftermarket. Radio with Carplay or Android Auto so you never have to worry about map updates would be best.

Want to keep factory look don't want to lose Heads Up display turn by turn .When I first got car was looking for Blue Tooth for phone found something, some kind of adapter that installed to harness in rear compartment by either between optional CD changer harness or between XM radio and factory harness, could access control through radio head unit in CD screen or XM screen.Unit supplied cable to install USB and 3.5 mini pug in console glove box. The guy made these harnesses up. Can't find link now
