C6 Head Unit advice
I just bought a 2010 ZR1 with the stock NAV head unit. I'm looking for wireless Apple Carplay, front and rear cameras, and a legible screen. I really prefer a **** for volume control, but I suspect that is too huge of a limiting factor. No need to play a CD. HD radio would be nice to have, since I do not intend to subscribe to Sirus XM.
A few years ago, I successfully installed a Kenwood DDX6092S w/rear camera in a C6 convertible and was happy with it. However, I'm here asking you guys, because I don't know what I don't know about the latest and greatest head units.

I have a strong preference for a real volume **** but they are getting nearly impossible to find. I too chose to forego the volume **** in favor of wireless car play and HD display in my truck last year and went with a Kenwood DDX9906XR which has buttons for the volume (which I hate) and I can tell you that about 20% of the time wireless car play doesn't connect quickly and sometimes it doesn't see my iPhone until I plug in the cable. So now I prefer to plug in the USB cable because I don't trust the wireless connection. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't have spent the extra dollars on the higher end head unit.
Here is a Kenwood that has a real volume **** but is wired car play only. In my opinion I'd take the real volume **** trade-off versus wireless car play.
