Default Front camera - routing wires????

I’m installing. A Kenwood DDX6906 in my 2012 Grand Sport coupe, also putting in front and rear cameras while I have it apart.

I cant find any route to run the wiring for the front camera through the firewall. Any suggestions?

TIA

I ran mine through the big grommet behind the battery but they were a pain to get them through it. When it came time to run the positive cable for my amp there's a spot below the grommet that you can drill a hole that worked good for this, you can see it in these photos.

Ran my 2 gauge amp and camera wires through the big grommet on my 13 GS. No issues for me. I did use a little lube.

Does this enter the cabin behind the glove box? Do i need to remove the glovebox for access?

Shouldn't need to, if you look up behind there you can see where the harness comes through.

I went at it a bit differently. Used some plastic wire loom to encapsulate the power and video wires from the front camera. Ran that kinda parallel to the driver's front fender, then under the cowl and into the cabin near the A-pillar, then straight across the driver's side footwell area into the center console. Hopefully the pictures tell the story here.

Wires partway in wire loom

Under the cowl

Out the other side and towards the A-pillar

Now in the cabin
