C6 coupe speaker sizes
My son just installed a new Excelon head unit in my 2007 Base coupe.
The sound that comes out of the speakers now exceeded my expectations ten fold.
Now, wanting more, I went back to Crutchfield site this time looking at speakers, but their data base says nothing is available for my selected vehicle.
How do I know what size speakers I can fit in the rear and doors please?

Top of door speakers can hold a 3.5" speaker. Infinity 3.5" are a good choice.
Replacing the door subs is tricky as there is no known good replacement without adding a separate amp.. You can fit 6 1/2; 6x9, 8", or 10" shallow mount speakers with the right adapter.
If you are just wanting a bit more, then just add a corner sub, a small sub amp, and replace the 4 speakers mentioned above.
