Thinking this over----If i use the antenna wire, wouldn't the amps only be on when the radio is in use?
If i switch to USB music or similar...would the antenna wire/ amps be turned off because the radio is off.??
I posted this when I installed a Pioneer 8200BT 1. Connect the Metra Harness to the Pioneer Harness. The Metra directions are sparse but the EIA color codes match PERFECTLY to the pioneer wires. These are the wires you connect: a. 8 speaker wires (colors matched exactly), b. Red to Red (accessory power) c. Yellow to Yellow (battery/constant power) d. Black to Black (ground) e. Orange to Orange/White (illumination) f. Blue/White to Blue/White (amp turn on/remote on)

depends on how they implemented it. just use a voltmeter to test it out first.
I was hoping you figured this out. I have the same issue. My new head unit only haze a blue wire and I have it connected to the PAC unit blue wire and it sounds Terrible.
