I have a 2011 Grand Sport 2LT and my speaker grills say Bose on them, but when I took the door panels off this weekend, I had these Delco speakers (15210475) where I expected Bose speakers. The plugs and wiring look 100% stock and the 3.5" speakers at the top of the door say Bose on the back, but not the larger speakers in the doors. Larger speakers measure 8" when not including the black plastic surrounding part instead of the expected 10" speakers:
Is this normal?
Did someone before me just upgrade the door panels and upper 3.5" speakers to make it look like the car came with Bose?
How else could I tell?
It just seems off to me. I'm doing the kicker upgrades for the 3.5" and rear 5.25" speakers and planned on replacing one of the larger door speakers that was blown, but it turns out I bought the wrong one. Here's the Bose speaker I bought:
Thanks

Makes me wonder why someone would have taken the time to replace the door panels and upper speakers with Bose instead of just replacing them with something better. The door panel thing is a mystery but I guess that's part of the fun for what I paid for the car. Appreciate your help.
