Narrowed it down to 3…need help deciding
Good Evening All;
I am about ready to swap out my old door components (MTX Thunder Axe High End Series) with some new gear. They have prob been in there since around 2005 or so. I have it narrowed down to 3 sets.
1. Focal Auditor Series
2. Morel Ultimo’s
3. Hertz Deici Series
They are all comparable in price (170-200). Just need help deciding. I want to know who has had experience with any of these.
Also they will be amplified (bridged 4 to 2 channel) 200x2 at 4ohms or I may run it at the 50x4 I haven’t decided for sure yet for the time being with the amp I currently have (MTX Thunder 3404). Amp will be replaced in the future.
Any help you can all give me in making a decision is greatly appreciated.

What car? Will you have a dedicated sub? What do you listen to?
I would recommend largest midbass/woofer you can fit in the doors. 2 way 3.5" or mid/tweeter to complete a 3way setup.
Only experience that I have with those brands is auditioning them at shops.

Ok. I remember your other thread now.
From those 3, I would cross out the Focal. Mainly because of the tweeter. It sounds harsh to me. I don't know which Morel you are looking at so I can't comment between those and the Hertz.
Have you read this thread? I think that setup would outperform any of the 3 in your list.
