C6 Bose system- Speakers stopped working
2010 C6 GS, Bose system with Kenwood DMX 97065.
Everything has been working flawlessly for the past 2+ years. My wife was driving the other day and the sound cut out and was completely dead.
Now when you turn the car on, the speakers make some clicks, then again no sound and the rest of the ride there will no side.
Otherwise the headunit still operates as it should. I verified all the wiring is still good and intact. I checked all fuses and they all are still fine.
I think my next step is to replace the Bose amp. Is there any way to test if the amp is dead?

Start with the radio interface. After that, then the amp.
See if Dr Don can give you some hints about testing the amp.
you can also just try the oem radio to see if it works with the amp.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything, I've heard where a number of people with the RP5's have had issues with them over the years on this forum. Trying the stock head unit like I mentioned would certainly help you narrow things down.

Just to follow up.
Changed the Bose amp out for a known working one and the sound is back.
I put some heat reflective tape on the floor under it. My thoughts, after the long tube install more heat was getting into the foot well and maybe that pushed my stock amp to an early grave.
