Looking to add an amp. Looking to place behind passenger seat. Where
is the best place to get the power from and the ground wire? If it has to go
behind the drivers seat that will work too. Any help appreciated.

Power direct from battery. Use a fuse. Run through grommet.
Ground is behind passenger seat on side wall by the seat belt.
From C5 FAQ Sticky... How do i run a power wire through the firewall? from forum member 'vate' the power cable will slide right alongside the main harness where it passes through the firewall.
First remove the battery. You will see a bundle of wires going through a flexible rubber grommet in the firewall.
Remove the electrical tape around these wires.
Your power cable should be plenty stiff to push the wire through, provided you spray it with some WD-40 first.
Once you get it through, go inside the car, under the passenger side footwell, and find the wire. A bright color like the red I used works well.
