Bose system disconnected
I have a 1998 C5 and was under the dash the other day and noticed that a connector that had no home, after a little while looking around saw it is supposed to be connected to a Bose component to the right side oft he steering column. Wondering if anyone knows if I should reconnect this?

Bose signal processing module
I was wondering if the stereo get replaced in my C5 do I have to unplug the Bose Signal Processing Module for the new stereo to work properly or can I just install a new stereo and leave everything else intact. I was poking around under the dash and saw rthat my SPM was unplugged.

Advanced
I am also curious about this. I am damn sick of the stock head unit and my next move after intake, headers is to address the audio system. I'd like to do just a head unit and then speakers wit due time but if speakers gotta go then I'd like to know so I can just bite the bullet and do it all at once.
