Those with wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto...

any pics of where you have the usb cable coming out??

I'm back to the drawing board on a unit and just curious how discreetly you may have run the cable!

I have mine coming out by the console on the passenger side.. I have wireless aa so I keep it there just in case..

Mine comes out in my console - removed the 12v outlet and ran the USB through there.

How did you get wireless AA working? I have a 2019..

Wireless is great, but it puts a pretty heavy battery drain on the phone. Anything longer than an hour and I typically plug mine in to charge. I have 2 USB cables off the head unit, one run into the glovebox for the wife and/or USB stick for additional music. The 2nd is run to the factory USB port (I have a 2012) in the center console, however, it gets so hot in there that I've had my phone shut off while in there being charged. I just ordered some insulation to see if it will help.
