Might not be what you're looking for but the C5 has a uniquely perfect place for a sub. A few thousand watts and some prep makes the entire trunk area a perfect natural extension, even with a sealed box. Need to dump the CD changer though. I followed the box plans, went with a really strong 10" and a huge amp connected to a large CAP with 1 gauge wire. Stock alternator wasn't enough so there was some dimming but the bass was unreal even with the stock head unit and a cheap PAC ipod interface.
Thats it! The entire luggage area is a perfect box above the driver to compliment. Serious SPL is possible in our C5's! I have 1 gauge wires from the battery to pretty large 2 farad cap right next to the amp on a 1ohm wired driver in mine and there is some real issues with the windshield vibration, I can't see anything in the rearview when the bass hits hard.
they used to be available from a company called elemental designs. They went out of business about 10 years ago. I have a set and I am very happy with them (sorry, your aunt be getting these). With a pair of 8" subs I get all the kick I'll ever need, and I still have a very useful trunk. I highly recommend corner boxes over the center box from a practically point. You might be able to get a shop to do a custom one for you... probably not cheap though.
