I am installing the Pioneer FM903XM receiver to the stock Bose head unit. The antenna connectors are different sizes. The one coming from the dash is smaller than the one supplied by Pioneer, so now the stock antenna cable is too small for the Pioneer converter, and the connector that goes from the Pioneer back into the Bose unit is too big. Now what do I doo???
I am considering going out and buying a new head unit (probably a Pioneer) that is XM ready. Am I going to run into the same problem with the antenna connections if I go that route? I thought the antenna connectors are all universal. I have installed several stereos before and I have never run into this problem. :mad
lawman,
back in the late '80s when the cd changers first came out they made adapters for the different size leads. i bet if you look you can still find one
