This may be Old News to some, but I just found out about it.
I have a JVC In-Dash Head Unit with a 7" Touch Screen that is about 12 years old. For about the last 4-5 years the Touch Screen
has not been working correctly. I believed it was made into the actual LCD Display, but it is not. Touch function is provide by a clear overlay
on top of the LCD Screen. I never thought I could get it repaired because of its age and parts would be hard to find and expensive.
I was paging through aliexpress.com and found the resistance touch screen replacement for my Head Unit - for $10.00
