Stereo amplifier not working (Bose)
Hello and thanks in advance for any help! Just bought a C5 zo6 2003 and stereo volume level is barely audible. I have checked passenger side fuses 24 and 28 both are good. Also swapped the Bose relay with the rear defrost of same type no luck. I am ready to just replace the unit but not sure if the issue is with the stereo itself or Bose amplifier/controller. Any help is much appreciated

The top door and rear speakers are powered directly from the headunit. The door subs are powered by dedicated amps within each speaker. If there is no sound and all speakers and wiring is good, then I suspect the head unit.

Thanks Vince this definitely helps! I can here sound throughout its just really faint even at full volume. Guess I’ll be stereo shopping soon! Any suggestions for an easy drop-in single din system? Thanks again!

Not much of a selection for single din, but this one has bluetooth and phone controls.

There are also some with a flip screen or even those single din with a 10" screen.
You can also go with a double din and get the new dash kit offered by several vendors.
