Default Full blown system install-Looking for some help

Ok, here is the deal. I haven't put a stereo system in a car in around 15 years. This is what is en route to my house as we speak. JL 300/2,JL 250/1, Focal 165K2 6.5", Alpine 7998, Stealthbox by Mike and a JL 10W3v2.

For starters, any idea on where and what to buy regarding the following two items:Mounting Kit and a wiring harness for the head unit.

Hit a WALMART Supercenter or local stereo shop for the Metra install kit and wirng harness. You'll only need two wires from the harness anyway, Constant 12V and ground. Switched 12v can be picked up in the passenger footwell on circuit fuse #11. Amp power wire goes through the firewall gromment located behind the battery and to the upper right side of the before mentioned fuse panel in footwell.

that will make for a most excellent install!!!!

I am sure you will love it.

You will need to get some 4 gauge wire to power the amps... In my 92, I ran wire from the battery for both hot and ground. There is zero noise.

Baldie,

Any singular/group of thing(s) that made ya go with the CDA-7998? I'm looking at getting the CDA-7897, but I'm still open to a lil convincing - I was looking at the 7998, but that extra $200 I couldn't justify.
