I know this topic has been disscused to death because I did a number of searches on it. The C5 is supposed to have two factory plugs for the cd harness located at the footrest next to the fuse panel. One three prong and one four prong. Some have the four and no three and I have the three and no four. I see that some posters have said that there not there sometimes, but they never say where they found them I have a 99 FRC and the changer was not an option, but there are the holes drilled for the changer and it does have one connector  Does anyone have any advice other than :cry thanks
Well I figured out that I'm not blind after all  After everyone including Chevrolet telling me to look harder for the elusive four prong plug, I got fed up and pulled the radio. Well what do you know, No wires on the terminal I have the base delco system. looking at the electrical schematic for the base and BOSE radios, it shows the four prong is the imput from the cd changer to the radio. The Base system is not internally wired to support the factory cd changer. I happen to have a BOSE radio from a friend and although they look the same from the front, the BOSE has two sets of plugs on the back and the base unit one :mad. What works is if you have the BOSE radio you can still make it work without the BOSE module. You jump the pins going to the BOSE MODULE LF imput to LF output Common to common ect. I got some old plugs out of the salvage yard and made them up. Installed the factory changer and radio this weekend, all is well. So I'm posting this so someone else dosen't go through all the crap pulling there car apart looking for a connector thats not there. Again if you have the BOSE system you will have the two connectors. If you have the base only one
