New Head Unit
My 2006 Z06 has a Jensen VX7020 head unit that was already installed when I bought the car. I am thinking of replacing it, and am aware that many users seem to favor Pioneer, Kenwood, and Sony. I'm sure they are all good. One very bad thing about my Jensen head unit is that the clock is terrible at keeping time. It needs to be reset frequently. Do any or all of the previously-mentioned new head units automatically update time via cell towers?

No. None do it via cell towers. The headunits with built in GPS may do based on their location. Chat with Crutchfield.com customer service and they can help you find exactly what you need.
