I build a custom box for my C6, vert, I don't know if it would work in a C7 though. It uses two Kicker 8" Solobarics.

Sounds real good, I'm running a Kicker amp https://www.kicker.com/CXA8001-800-W...-Subwoofer-Amp to power the sub, I mounted the amp behind the water fall in the place where the stock XM tuner was. I bought the 4 ohm speakers that I wired to 2 ohms, and at 2 ohms the amp puts out 600 watts, I had to remove the stock rear speakers (which I don't miss) and I'm still running the stock speakers and amp in the rest of the car, which I don't mind because the added bass from the sub makes the rest of the car sound really good. I'm also running a Pioneer AVIC 8200 NEX head unit that also was a major improvement in the sound.

That is awesome work, do you happen to build a C7 regular sub-box or know the best route I can go...Need a box that will put out some serious thump before I start with the rest

Thanks, I appreciate that. No, sorry, I have no experience with the C7's, I've been in discussion with another C7 owner on this forum who's interested in one of my boxes, but we need to look at dimensions and other issues to determine if it would even work. The problem is that I don't know anyone in Montana that has a C7 vert that I could even look at to see how much of a difference there is between a C6 and C7.
