I’m looking at the Jensen Car910W which has a 9” screen and wireless CarPlay, and at $549.99 the price point is pretty good. Any one use this? I know I could go with an Alpine, Kenwood, or Sony - but similar 9” floating units are twice the price.

If you want to make your Kenwood where it has wireless CarPlay, see this thread https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-carplay.html I've seen where others have installed the 9" units, but they just look out of place in my opinion.

I saw that, but my issue is the Kenwood takes forever to boot up and I wanted a slightly bigger screen.
thanks pal. Almost all the 9” options are $1,200, such as the Pioneer in that thread. Whereas, I can get the Jensen’s for under $500 from the manufacturer. It’s a really significant cost (there are cheaper Amazon 9” options) differential, and I’m wondering if this is a waste of money. I really like the 9 over the 10, because it doesn’t seem to block the vents. The standard double din size is hard to read, and I actually road-trip this car, so having a fast head unit that I can read is important - squinting at the screen looking for a turn off while bouncing around, sucks.
Your call, but IMO Jensen is the lowest of the low end products. My daughter had a Jensen and to call it pathetic was generous. Yes it is inexpensive but man it was pretty bad. It barely received FM station that were fairly strong.
Personally I would keep looking unless reading the screen is your only requirement.

thats the answer I was looking for, plus the Pioneer and the like have 720dpi. Will keep looking.

Jenson is crap, I suggest sticking with one of the major manufacturers such as Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood or Sony, sure you'll spend more money, but you'll be much better off in the long run.
