Just built a box for upgraded rear soeaks in my 1980 C3. Test fitted them today, what'cha think? I am now trying to work up a good way to secure it. Thinking of maybe drilling through the back wall, putting in bulkhead grommets and running 3/8" bolts/washers. Anyone else have input? I want it to be very secure.....
Thank You! Now I need to figure out how thick that back wall is. I have an assortment of bulkhead grommets, but they are designed for a 1/8" inch wall......
On my C3, I built a whole box in the rear that houses a sub, 6x9’s, a head unit and two amps. You have the challenge of the big rear window. I think you did a great job mounting your subs. That was a challenge. Well done.
