Repair or Replace? C4 CD Died
The CD player in my 91 quit today, I hear the CD spinning – the unit times out and Errors – Should I replace? Or have repaired? If repaired – where? Replace – with what? Are there any upgrades available while someone is digging around in my stereo? I heard something about an upgrade that would prevent your antenna from going up if the the CD player was running.

I would try to fix it yourself or get a new one. Fix it yourself means blowing air like you use to clean a computer keyboard on the lense to see if it has dust on it. If this doesn't work, the cost of fixing it is halfway to replacing it with a much better setup, 25% of the way if you have someone else do the work. Do you want to and do you have the budget for a system?
I would say to have it fixed only if you wanted the car 100% stock for shows. Looking at your car, I don't think that's the case. :flag
