C6 antenna
So I want to just replace my head unit for now and install a backup camera on my 2013 grandsport. It has all the Bose stuff. I keep reading about poor fm signal and the need to power the antenna. Can't you just install a new powered antenna and run the cable to the rear bypass the OEM antenna completely?

I suggest just hooking up to the stock antenna and trying it out before you button everything up, and checking the reception. Not everyone has issues with reception with the stock antenna, mine is just fine with my Pioneer system.
