C6 conv rear speakers needed
Let me start with I know very little about car audio.
The 2013 GS I just bought contains the following system:
Alpine iLX 650; Unkown interface w/steering wheel controls; JL XD500/3V2 amp;
JL ZR650/570-CSpxo Cross over and speakers in the doors; JL Stealth Speakers w/8" W3v3 speakers behind the seats.
The stealth set is powered by the sub woofer channel on the amp. The wife and I wear hearing aids and do not need
nor appreciate the deep bass behind us.
While the system sounds great, I am looking to remove them and replace with good speakers that are the size of the original OEM speakers.
I believe they are 5-1/4".
The issue I have is that I cannot find just sub woofers in the 5-1/4" Range that don't have the tweeters also.
We don't really need a two-way speaker in the rear.
Need recommendations.

You could just get a bass control dial installed in the cockpit and turn down the bass to levels which would work for you. It’s a nice little feature that I find really comes in handy for when I don’t want it too heavy.
I think I’ll be hard to find good 5.25 subs. I find they really don’t sound good but that’s just my opinion.
I have a 10” W3v3 stealthbox in mine and I put these Morels in the back of my C6 for good deep midrange. I had the tweeter turned down low on the crossover and it’s barely audible. You have a good system in your car and these Morels will compliment the system nicely. Really quality sound.
