Why did I wait so long?
I have had an aftermarket HU in my C6 for a couple of years and was happy with everything except the rear speakers.I know they are just to help fill the sound void but they were minimal at best.I finally decided to install a set of Kenwoods I had laying around and wired them straight to the head unit,bypassing the interface.I have speakers I can hear now!Amazed at the difference in sound and it didn't cost me anything but about an hour's worth of work.Happy with the reults but upset that I didn't do this sooner.

Actually you would amazed if you just shut them off completely and disconnect the center speaker. The rear speakers actually just create sound confusion in the cabin. First thing I do in every car is disconnect the rears and create a magnificent soundstage up front. All of my cars you are in the front row, or on stage with the band, NO music comes from behind, but it is a personal thing. FYI I have won several IASCA SQ contests, Dump the rears and the center.
