Here's a stoopid question...
...wouldn't this really spiffy looking sub be totally hidden (except the cone) once it was mounted in a box????
I don't know how good it is, but it sure looks cool!! :conehead

People often reverse mount subs... so the basket is visible and the cone fires into the box. Audiobahns are definately... hte peacock subs...

There is an old addage in the audio bizz... you get what you pay for.
For a little more, you get a nice JL or Kicker.

1200 watt power handling with a signal to noise ratio of 87 decibels at 1 watt/meter. My ears would bleed me to death before it would satisfy my accoustic green thumb! But it is a cool looking basket and magnet structure :D

I've heard Audiobahn is just for the look ... almost got the aluminum series but after reading many reviews, I went with other subs.

For best bang for the buck, looking for Diamond Audio (Mc Daddy or M5/M6) on Ebay ... it is about the same price as Audiobahn but sounds much better (for SQ and SPL) even JL stuff cannot compare IMO.
