I have a 2014 and I lost OnStar from the car when the 2G network went off the air. My car has a 2017 radio in it. Is there a module that can be added to re-install OnStar, and if so, what would that module be called? I'm sure some intervention from the dealer to activate the module if it is possible to get the OnStar back on the air?

Elmer - try asking your question in the Audio/Electronics section of the forum. Perhaps someone there has run into the same thing.

I thought at one time you could get an updated OnStar box for the newer C6’s but I can’t remember where I saw that or even if they’re still available. I suggest you contact OnStar and ask them. Personally I just pulled the fuse on my 05 to disable it completely.
