WHAT BATTERY

I have a yellow top optima, but once I install my other 2 amps, I am sure that I will not have enough power to sustain. I am currently running a JL 300/4, but will be adding a 300/2 and a 500/1 to the set up. I was thinking of running a second battery, what one should I run?

If you want to run a second batt, get a red top as your primary and use the yellow top as the secondary. :thumbs:

I just installed a JL300/2 and a 250/1. Do I need to upgrade my battery also?

are your lights dimming at idle, or any other electrical problems at idle ? You shouldn't need a second batt unless your amps are pulling serious power and you want to run the stereo at full power for hours on end with the car off...
