Sorry it took so long. I'm still waiting on a grill for the sub to get here in the mail.

I got the bike back to normal shortly after that happened. I guess I got lucky when you consider that I hit a deer, kept it on 2 wheels and didn't get a scratch. Thanks for your concern though.

Looks great. How much volume did you wind up with for your IDMAX?

I originally made the box for 1.3 cubic feet (after the displacement of the sub was figured, but I went by the plans that you posted and the sub wouldn't fit flat because the magnet was hitting the inside corner of the box. I made that little wedge to tilt the sub forward 10 degrees and I didn't figure it all up, but I'd say 1.35 to 1.4 ft^2.

I'm not bitching at all, thank you for posting those plans, they helped me out a lot. I'll put up another pic when I get my grill in the mail. I ordered it from bob gately, it's a plexiglass maltese cross. It looks

I never would have been able to do this without the help of the forum, so thanks to everyone who helped me spend a bunch of money.

Glad that my sub enclosure plans basically worked out for you. Can you give me some more details on your speaker grill in terms of contact information and such. I bet that will look really . :yesnod:

http://www.gatelyaudio.com/

the website is screwed up but if send him e-mail he'll give you pics. The problem with the IDMAX is that the mounting holes aren't on axis. I ordered the grill for the 15" and I'm gonig to mount it 45 degrees offset, the bigger grill should give me a little more protection for the sub.

I'll get some pics as soon as I recieve it. or I can send you the detailed pics that he sent me.
