I’d rather go with a Double DIN unit, and have the vents, which I think would look better, but it’s up to you.

Are you going to leave it in that position? I am looking at this HU too, it has a lot of adjustability, but looks like you have it all the way up. Can you show a Pic with the vent mostly exposed, and the HVAC partly covered?

The screen is located where the AC controls have full access, and the top of the air vent is exposed. You will lose the direct blast of air from the center vent. However, I drove in 95-degree weather, and the car cabin still cooled perfectly.
No chance of touching the screen when shifting either, everything clears perfectly, and you can do custom screen wallpapers too.
