Installed a radio from Reversion Raceworks. Radio works great except for one thing. Seems that whenever I connect a trickle charger to the battery, after a couple days the radio will reset. Doesn't lose preprogramed stations but time and date will reset and then i need to set to correct time and date. Reversion has not ever had this problem before. So the company and I need suggestions. Tried a different charger with the same results. For some reason the radio is losing constant power when battery is being charged. Maybe 2000 corvette has a shutoff when battery is being charged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions please.
Check the Yellow 12V+ wire and make sure it has 12V+ at all times with the car off, this is what keeps the head unit powered at all times to retain the memory settings of the head unit. You might also check if yours has the current Firmware installed.
Just tried one of the suggestions in your article of not connecting negative cable to the battery but to another ground. Its been 5 hours, so far so good.

Just went out and checked on radio. The sob reset again. Spent over $450 for a radio that can't keep time. Taking it out and putting original back in and throwing it in the trash and probably trading the vehicle. I am pissed

Just to reclarify, you are saying that the clock stays on and works after you put the trickle charger on but resets later on?
Do you have to disconnect the battery to trickle charge?. If not, I don't see anything that would muck it up.
If the power goes out in my house, I have to reset all of my plug-in clocks.
If you DO disconnect the battery, you might need one of these:
If all of the the above is OK, then I'd call Reversion Raceworks back and TELL them to send you another unit. It very well could be a manufacturing defect in that one unit. It happens.
If the new one does the same thing, then you'll know it's something to do with your car.
BTW, looked up that head unit and it looks like a nice piece of kit!
Installation looks like a breeze. Basically plug and play. Not much for someone to mess up.
