98 coupe radio question
I have a98 coupe with a cassette radio Bose headunit.(but doesn't say Bose like 99+)
I would like to buy a cd changer (12 disc) out of a later year.
WILL IT FIT AND WILL THE HARNESSES WORK AND WILL IT WORK?
I put a single disc player in last year but really want a 12 disc. (I kept the old radio)
Can anyboy help me?
I was told by one non vette guy that 98 was a ood ball year cause the radio doesn't say BOSE :confused:

None of them say BOSE on the radio (pretty sure).. Mine is a '99 and it does not... only says BOSE on the speakers. The only one that is different is the '99 (and maybe 2000) FRC which only had optional BOSE. Your '98 is the same as mine, in fact I currently have a '98 cassette radio in mine. You CAN add the 12 CD unit but you probably have to also buy the harness that goes from the passenger footwell to the unit in the back storage bin.
