From what I have seen about the Bose systems cd players...I suspect you will probably have to have it removed and repaired or find a replacement depending on the cost to fix it. There is probably one to be had from a parted out car somewhere. Check the C4 parts section here on the forum. Sorry I don't have better news.

Darkhalo , you are not kiddin the devil really does own a vette , and i think it is mine everytime i get in my vette something brakes . My climate control is possessed .

dude, mine does soooo many quirky electrical things. Never anything that keeps it from starting but I cant tell you how many times Ive been out middle of the nite to reset the alarm. Or when driving at nite and the interior lights start flashing on and off. Sometimes the Blose will all of a sudden start SCREECHING!!! at me loud enuff to make my ears bleed (almost). I love corvettes but dayum theyre quirky SOB's! :blueangel:

Cd player problems are far too common. :( I just recently won one of Dr. Don's ebay auctions for $130.00 plus $12.00 shipping. My CD player has not worked since the day I bought my car, and I decided it was finally time to take care of it. Three days ago I took the head unit out, and yesterday I shipped it out to Dr. Don's.
I'm looking forward to a properly functioning CD player at last. :hurray:
