Help with loud popping bose speaker
I have a 99HT with the bose cd system in it, and my left front door speaker pops from time to time. It does not do it all the time, but when it does it you would think something just hit your car hard. Also between songs you can hear a light static sound just from that speaker. It also seems as if there is little to no bass coming out of the speaker. The dealer has replaced the speaker/amp and the head unit, and this has not fixed it. My car has just run out of warranty. The dealer said they might "goodwill" it, but it would have to be doing it all the time so they could track it down. I dont care how it gets fixed, I just want it fixed. However I do not want to replace the whole system. Can anyone shed some light on possible other causes? Thanks!

sounds like a bad amp.
not sure what you can do for it in the C5 realm.
I suspect you could send it back to blose for service.
