WinISD
I just d/l this program and started to play around with, but I have no idea what I am doing. Can someone explain how to use or is there a website that shows this. I am still learning this whole car audio thing.
Specifically I am trying to figure out box size for an IDQ10 in mike's stealthbox?
TIA

Re: WinISD (Metal_Wulf)
So does that mean that mike's box will be too big? His stealthbox is around 1.1ft^3. WinISD suggested .690ft^3. Driver dispacement is only.05ft^3
all sealed of course

Re: WinISD (MVP)
you could always put in a baffle to make the volume less, you need it to be about half the size.
or you can port the sub, which if I was only going to have a single 10" i'd do

MVP, if you wanna have a smaller volume box, I can do that for you but I just cannot go bigger.
BTW, the box will look the same but I just block the incline part to reduce the volume.

.50 after displacement is perfect for an IDq10 with 200-300 watts of power.
...port it :D

Re: WinISD (Kale)
Mike can you port it?
And will it make if difference if I still have the center cover over it?
Either way Mike, I will send you an IM as soon as I figure out what I want to do.

1 cubic foot, ported to 26hz with decent port area...
:)
unfortunaly a "sound quality port" is very long.

i dunno off the top of my head, maybe 30" ? you can go shorter, but with less port area. less port area = subwoofer farts on long low tones
